Guests can enjoy eating out on the patio, with its sun loungers and barbecue and views to the nature reserve, or have a picnic in the meadow or at some of the other picnic spots suggested in the provided user guide. (We have a picnic backpack for your use.)

Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms, this large holiday home is ideal for family holidays, or couples holidaying together.

Most of our guests are from repeat bookings – a real home from home!

Dog Friendly Holiday Home, Pembrokeshire

We have five rescue dogs of our own, so we appreciate the needs dogs have. The immediate and greater property is fenced, so plenty of room to roam. And some great beaches to run on. Feeding bowls and towels provided.

Three dogs, maybe more on request, are very welcome, free of charge.

Butterfly in the meadow

Bird, Butterfly, Tree Spotting & Fly Fishing

In season, spot butterflies in the meadow and nature reserve. With our many nesting sites, bird watch from the cottage or nature reserve. See if you can spot the buzzards that nest in the trees flanking the driveway. Use our tree guide to identify the more than 120 native trees in the woodland, garden and meadow. Hundreds of native bulbs have been planted. Free fly fishing for rainbow trout.

Pembrokeshire Accessible Holiday Home

Lower Lochturffin provides wheelchair-friendly accommodation – all accommodation is on the ground floor, and just one step in the property between the lounge and two of the three bedrooms.

Guests can also park their car by the property’s front door.

Private Nature Reserve...

We are joint owners of the nature reserve, to which our holiday home guests have a right of access.

It consists of old and new woodland, grassland and two lakes, the upper lake being smaller than the lower one. A sanctuary for nature, surrounded by farmland.

There have been sightings of badgers, foxes, a variety of birds and amphibians, (harmless) grass snakes and very occasionally otters.
